Mud Flap Girl T-shirt project

I designed a t-shirt based on my Mud Flap Girl with Skeleton image, taken from the Mud Flap Girl (MFG) drawing series. I presented this t-shirt at the tweak fashion show, at Club SAW in Ottawa (www.teakclothing.ca)

The MFG t-shirt project responds to a range cultural constructions, including the representation of female sexuality. In the t-shirt project I bring together fashion design and pop culture iconography to deconstruct and expand on mainstream representations of woman as a sex object.
